# External archival deposit of G6_RELEASE/1.1

This companion cannot mint a Zenodo DOI. ZIP transport is optional. An
immutable external identity is an author action: deposit the payload files
listed in `RELEASE.json` (or, optionally, `G6_RELEASE_1.1.zip`) on Zenodo or
another DOI-issuing archive, then publish a separate DOI pointer without
mutating these frozen unarchived bytes.

Until that deposit exists:

```

Do not invent a DOI. Do not describe this site-only freeze as externally
immutable. The six source-work DOIs already identify the papers.

After deposit, a new release identifier (not a silent edit of v1.1)
may add the DOI as a pointer record.
