600-cell signal network

One hundred twenty real signals sit on the fixed vertices of the 600-cell graph. This is not the typed interface network, which maps mathematical interfaces rather than vertex-indexed signals. The planar OMEGA curve does not select this graph or force these coupling weights.

The marked planar reference starts from the unit circle and the opening ε=π/648000\varepsilon=\pi/648000, with φ=(1+5)/2\varphi=(1+\sqrt5)/2. For scale a>0a>0,

G(a)=aφ+aφ2=aφ,Ccirc(a)=aπ.G(a)=\frac{a\varphi+a\varphi}{2}=a\varphi,\qquad C_{\mathrm{circ}}(a)=a\pi.

CcircC_{\mathrm{circ}} is the opposite semicircle, not the retained major arc. The selected ratio is

λ=φφ+π∈(0,1).\lambda=\frac{\varphi}{\varphi+\pi}\in(0,1).

For a retained positive calibration arefa_{\mathrm{ref}}, χ(a)=1+a/aref\chi(a)=1+a/a_{\mathrm{ref}} and Ω(v)=1+λ(v−1)\Omega(v)=1+\lambda(v-1) satisfy χ(λa)=Ω(χ(a))\chi(\lambda a)=\Omega(\chi(a)) on positive scales and v>1v>1. Zero scale is the degenerate template and the fixed scalar 1. Do not evaluate a length ratio as 0/00/0.

Different objects

The 600-cell positions are 120 fixed vertices in R4\mathbb R^4, represented in Q(5)\mathbb Q(\sqrt5). A real network state is v∈R120v\in\mathbb R^{120}. An integer state is d∈Z120d\in\mathbb Z^{120}. A signal entry is not a 4-dimensional vertex coordinate. Recovering a signal does not reconstruct an unrecorded orientation.

Declared mixing

AA is the adjacency matrix of the labeled graph: 120 vertices, 720 edges, degree 12. Adjacent vertices have squared distance 2−φ2-\varphi. The checker stores doubled coordinates as integer pairs (a,b)(a,b) for a+bφa+b\varphi.

L=12I−A,M=13I+A,P=M/25=I−L/25.L=12I-A,\qquad M=13I+A,\qquad P=M/25=I-L/25.

Each row and column of PP sums to one. The center has weight 13/2513/25 and each of twelve neighbors has weight 1/251/25. For a degree-rr regular graph the same pattern is ((r+1)I+A)/(2r+1)((r+1)I+A)/(2r+1). The denominator 25 is a stated choice, not a constant forced by the planar curve.

Real update

F(v)=1+λP(v−1),Fn(v)=1+λnPn(v−1).\mathcal F(v)=\mathbf 1+\lambda P(v-\mathbf 1),\qquad \mathcal F^{n}(v)=\mathbf 1+\lambda^{n}P^{n}(v-\mathbf 1).

Because PP is nonnegative and stochastic, ∥F(v)−F(w)∥∞≤λ∥v−w∥∞\|\mathcal F(v)-\mathcal F(w)\|_\infty\le\lambda\|v-w\|_\infty. The unique fixed point is 1\mathbf 1. MM is nonsingular: if Mx=0Mx=0 and ∣xi∣|x_i| is maximal, then 13∣xi∣≤12∣xi∣13|x_i|\le 12|x_i|, so x=0x=0. Exact finite real contraction is injective. Its limit alone does not name the initial state.

On constant data, F(t1)=Ω(t)1\mathcal F(t\mathbf 1)=\Omega(t)\mathbf 1. For arbitrary real data, F(v)‾=1+λ(vˉ−1)\overline{\mathcal F(v)}=1+\lambda(\bar v-1). If UU preserves adjacency, F(Uv)=UF(v)\mathcal F(Uv)=U\mathcal F(v). That is equivariance of the update, not symmetry of every input. The Laplacian eigenvalue ν=15\nu=15, multiplicity 16, has multiplier 2λ/52\lambda/5.

The source manuscript is the 26 October 2026 assessment, revision 2.0, still unpublished. The author-reported reserved DOI 10.5281/zenodo.23688676 is not an issued publication, not a resolving deposit, and not a ninth source work.

Positive-simplex corollary

This is a written real-arithmetic derivation for 120 centered coordinates. It is not a TGA execution result, not a six-mark membership test, not a 45-byte codec, and not a training or physical-performance claim. It inherits no Lean declarations and no checker PASS.

For a strictly positive probability vector p∈R120p\in\mathbb R^{120}, clr⁡(p)=log⁡p−mean⁡(log⁡p) 1\operatorname{clr}(p)=\log p-\operatorname{mean}(\log p)\,\mathbf 1. On the zero-mean subspace, softmax and clr are inverse maps. Because PP preserves that subspace,

G(p)=softmax⁡(λPclr⁡(p)).\mathcal G(p)=\operatorname{softmax}(\lambda P\operatorname{clr}(p)).

Then Gi(p)∝pi13λ/25∏j∼ipjλ/25\mathcal G_i(p)\propto p_i^{13\lambda/25}\prod_{j\sim i}p_j^{\lambda/25} and G−1(p′)=softmax⁡(λ−1P−1clr⁡(p′))\mathcal G^{-1}(p')=\operatorname{softmax}(\lambda^{-1}P^{-1}\operatorname{clr}(p')). Set z=clr⁡(p)z=\operatorname{clr}(p), update z′=λPzz'=\lambda Pz, then apply the inverse chart. Expanding PP gives the product formula; the common mean-log factor cancels upon normalization. Invertibility follows from invertibility of PP on the zero-mean subspace. The full real signal also needs its mean, which evolves by scalar OMEGA. Softmax alone discards a common additive offset.
